We tell stories through films, photography, writing and design. These stories exist online, in apps, on the big and small screen, and every so often as ink printed on paper.
It is the entertaining and meaningful stories that last and it is those that get passed on to the next generations.
Lucid is a company of diverse disciplines led by creative strategy, writing, film direction and photography.
Each project requires a different approach so we make sure we have all the right people (and no one else) sitting around one table to develop a strategy, solve a creative brief and make the best work possible. It is the culmination of different disciplines working closely together and the nimble nature of Lucid that allows us to conceive and produce memorable stories efficiently and on strategy.
We aren’t naturally bragging types but in the 6 years since Lucid was founded, we’ve totted up some quite special accolades and awards, and helped bring about some great change for our clients.
With Nokia, we developed an Effie award-winning campaign ‘My Life Is In There’ that led to the worldwide advertising campaign ‘Everyone’. With BlackBerry, we developed a global TV and online advertising campaign that helped change the perception of the company as a brand that is now for both creative business and youth. (Advertising Age said our work ‘is proof that advertising works’.)
Our films have been shown at film festivals all over the world picking up nominations and awards including a BAFTA nomination and a Royal Television Society Award. And some of our photography have earned a temporary place in the National Portrait Gallery in London.
